Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy dates back to ancient Egypt where plants and flowers were distilled to extract their essential oils. These essential oils have a strong effect on a person a whole when they enter the limbic system, the part of the brain that control our moods, emotions, memory and learning, and also through the blood stream.

Using the oils in massage increases the effect they have on the mind and body greatly. Each essential oil has its own properties which treat various ailments.

The soothing combination of beautiful aromas and gentle massage work to balance, heel and maintain your body and mind.

A clients medical history, lifestyle, emotional and general health is taken into account before deciding on which oils are to be used. Depending on the individuals needs, essential oils can be used to stimulate, uplift, energise, relax or stimulate.

Aromatherapy can benefit a variety of physical and emotional problems including stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue, pain, insomnia, digestive problems and helps to strengthen the immune system.
